Silver-Lit Re-Forms
is Wallupin’s core body of work — a collection where classical imagery is reborn through luminous material and contemporary form.
Hand-applied silver leaf creates a reflective ground that responds to its environment, producing shifting highlights, deep contrast, and a restrained metallic glow. Precision transfer techniques shape the imagery without obscuring the material beneath, preserving the tactile depth of the surface.
Inspired by antiquity yet conceived for modern spaces, these works function as sculptural wall objects rather than traditional prints. Their presence changes with light, distance, and angle, creating a dynamic viewing experience that rewards prolonged observation.
Each piece is individually produced on solid birch plywood and released as part of a studio edition — emphasizing craftsmanship, longevity, and exclusivity.
Silver-Lit Re-Forms embodies the dialogue between past and present, permanence and transformation, surface and light.
